The development and support of practitioners is a fundamental part of what we do and we continue to invest in providing the best possible mentoring, training and professional activities for those who work with us. We have an in-house training institute offering free, professional development training courses for practitioners and we also operate a training academy offering hightly supported employment roles for those who have recently qualified (or who are completing a doctorate).

First Psychology Training is a natural evolution of the training function with First Psychology and has developed in parallel with the formation of our contemporary professional training programme in therapy (Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychological Therapy). We are continuing to grow and following the launch of our Diploma in October 2024 have exciting plans for additional training programmes, research and other relevant activities to support those wishing to enter the mental health field as a professionally qualified therapeutic practitioner.
